South Coast Ale Trail

Stretching from for more than 370kms from Wollongong to Pambula near the Victorian border, the South Coast Ale Trail delivers a diverse range of Craft Breweries as it winds its way along some of the country's most beautiful Coast line. Take your time visiting the 11 craft breweries and discover all the amazing attractions on offer along the way. Remember the South Coast is not a destination, it's a journey !

Naturally NSW

Get excited for this limited release hazy pale ale made with all NSW ingredients.

This hazy pale ale incorporates malt from @voyager_craft_malt, yeast from @mogwaiculture, hops from @ryefield_hops and was brewed at @jervisbaybrewing_co. You’ll find this beer at a few bars and restaurants around the Far South Coast as well as Whitton Malt House and Jervis Bay Brewery.

Tree planting

This initiative was part of a partnership with 4 Pines Brewing Co, Landcare Australia and Far South Coast Landcare. We’re more than stoked to report that 3,000 trees have been planted around a newly built dam. The partnership and tree planting was made possible through our 1% For The Planet fund. The aim of the project was to regenerate a creek line to improve biodiversity and water management which will encourage wildlife and insects back to the local area.

Hops Harvest event

Each year after harvest we bring a few fresh hopped kegs back for the locals to sample. This also gives us an opportunity to say thankyou to everyone who helped Ryefield Hops throughout the season. For a fresh (wet) hopped beer the hops need to be used within 48 hours of being picked off the bine. It produces a very unique flavour with loads of hops characters coming through.

Waratah - annual release

A specialty beer using 100% NSW ingredients and is released each year at Sydney Beer Week (since 2017) . Wildflower Brewing forage for their own wild yeast in NSW, use barley from Voyager Craft Malt, and our very own hops. The barreled beer 'Waratah' is a limited release and all involved companies are very excited to be producing a product of place.
